öppis is an online marketplace for Switzerland: goods, services and requests. We only provide the platform. Contracts are made exclusively between users — öppis is neither a party to them nor the seller, and guarantees neither offer, quality, payment nor delivery.

You need an account to post listings, send messages and keep a watchlist. You must be at least 18 or have your legal guardian's consent. One person, one account; your details must be true, and you are responsible for everything done through your account. Commercial sellers contact us so their account is marked as "dealer".

Posting, searching, chatting and saved-search alerts are free. We take no commission on sales. Only optional boosts cost money; prices are listed at oppis.ch/preise and are final prices in CHF.

You pay via Stripe (card, or TWINT where available). The boost is activated as soon as payment arrives and runs for the stated period. Because the service is delivered immediately, there is no refund afterwards — unless the boost could not be activated for reasons we are responsible for. If a listing is removed for breaching these terms, no refund is due. Boosts are always labelled as such; points (XP) cannot be bought.

Listings must be truthful, describe the item or service correctly, sit in the right category and carry a genuine price. Only use photos you have the rights to. One listing per item; mark sold items as sold or delete them.

• Weapons, ammunition and weapon parts covered by the Weapons Act
• Narcotics and prescription-only medicines
• Counterfeit, stolen or smuggled goods
• Animals, unless animal-welfare rules are complied with
• Content infringing third-party rights (trademarks, copyright, other people's photos)
• Erotic services, gambling, financial investments, chain letters
• ID documents, accounts, third parties' personal data
• Discriminatory, abusive or violent content
• Spam, bait offers and advance-payment fraud

Only someone who has been in contact with the other person through öppis can review them. Reviews must be honest and factual; bought or self-written reviews are prohibited.

Your content stays yours. You grant öppis the free, non-exclusive right to display it on oppis.ch while it is online.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break the law or these terms or put others at risk. We tell you why, unless the law forbids it. Report suspicious listings to kontakt@oppis.ch.

We aim for uninterrupted operation but cannot guarantee it. Listings may expire automatically after 60 days. We may change, extend or discontinue features.

öppis is not liable for deals between users or for their content or conduct. Otherwise we are only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence; mandatory statutory liability remains reserved.

You can delete your account at any time in your profile. In case of serious or repeated breaches we may suspend or delete it.

We may amend these terms. Changes are announced in advance on the website, significant ones also by e-mail. Continuing to use öppis means accepting the new version.

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is Buchs SG. For consumers, the mandatory jurisdictions of the Swiss Civil Procedure Code apply, in particular their place of residence.
